China’s current Military Position and Strength on the Global Scale

2015 saw China adjust its military strategy, aiming to build the world’s strongest army on the 100th founding anniversary of the People’s Republic of China (1 October 2049). In the same year, China published the Chinese Military White Paper that clearly outlined and expressed the intensified modernisation of the army to cope with increasing security challenges that China was facing. Over the past 5 years, one of the greatest changes in China is the change in its military potential, forces and structure. Noticeable changes have appeared in China’s overall military position and strength. Although China’s military strength and position have improved, the lack of practical and tactical experience will plunge China into difficulty in waging wars with other world powers while China enjoys upper hands over other countries in the region.
