Events and Reseach on Events in International Relations

An event is a thing happening unexpectedly and triggered by human beings or the nature. It is characterized by shifts, movements or disruptions in the flow of universe. It exerts various impacts on the future of universe. Every science selects, observes and analyses events, using its own criteria, methods and norms. In international relations, events serve both as research instruments and an integral part of international relations. No researcher can study international relations without being updated with events. What matters is the differentiation of diplomatic events and international relations from news and press events.
