Tạp chí Nghiên cứu Quốc tế / Số 1 (112)
Written by Nguyễn Thùy Minh & Hoàng Oanh
Tạp chí Nghiên cứu Quốc tế - Nghiên cứu trao đổi
This paper discusses the “strategic triangle” theorised by Lowell Dittmer in 1981 and based on the relationships between the three superpowers in the Cold War – the United States, the Soviet Union and China. The theory provides a systematic approach to the study of triangular relationships at the system level. However, it is not relevant to the in-depth study of policy process at the nation state level.
