International Studies - VIETNAM'S FOREIGN POLICY
The author of this article claims that the world is being transformed to a “world of multi-center network” and in that context, Vietnam, a small country, has faced new serious challenges for its sovereignty, security and development. In the long run, however, there are many strategic advantages for Vietnamfrom the reshaping of international order and rules of the game. It could be a great change for Vietnam to further strengthen its independence status and at the same time, exploit as much as possible the external resources for its national security and development. Strengthening the independence and flexibility at the highest level on foreign activities in the new world of multi-center network is a good grasp of the Ho Chi Minh’s Thoughts and practicality in foreign relations.
