Looking back on the Adjusment of Japan’s Foreign Policy after the Cold War

After the Cold War and due to world and domestic changes which have created both opportunities and big challenges for Japan, it had to adjust its foreign policy: Implementing the “back in Asia” strategy; promoting harmonious relations with neighboring countries; actively participating in global institutions, multilateral relations, defining its positions in the international arena...
